Kim Corbitt, Aaron Izaryk, and Erin Hatch, three University of Maine student-athletes, were named the top athletes in their respective sports in the America East conference.

Corbitt, a member of the women’s basketball team, will graduate in August with a degree in biological engineering as well as a double-minor in biomedical engineering and mathematics. She has also earned UM scholar-athlete as well as America East Honor Roll honors.

Izaryk, a kinesiology and physical education major and baseball player, will graduate in December. He recently won the M Club Dean Smith award, presented annually to the top male and female athlete at the school. He has also received scholar-athlete and conference honor roll honors.

Hatch, a sophomore on the track and field team, has been named to the America East Honor Roll as well as being a UM scholar-athlete. She is majoring in psychology.
