CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Terry Hatch shot back-to-back 2-under rounds of 70 to take the State of Maine Golf Championship at the Sugarloaf/USA Golf Club Wednesday.
Hatch, who plays out of the Biddeford/Saco Country Club, finished three strokes ahead of John Hickson of the Sunday River Golf Club and four up on Jeff Seavey of the Samoset Resort Golf Club of Rockport.
Corey Poulin of the Lakewood Golf Course won the amateur category and Mark Plummer of the Augusta Country Club finished first in the senior category.
