FORT KENT – Chris Roy, a member of Boy Scout Troop 189, recently completed his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project.

Chris, with the assistance of Ann Beaulieu of Fort Kent Parks and Recreation, designed and constructed the pedestrian bridge that now connects the Heritage Trail with the area of the town swimming pool.

To become an Eagle Scout, he had to show leadership by taking part in a service project that is beneficial to the community.
