NORTHPORT – Sam Simon aced the 157-yard third hole at Northport Golf Club on Saturday with a 4-iron. John Belanger, Merv Tuttle, and Ron Patterson each witnessed Simon’s first hole-in-one.

CHARLESTON – Gary Mehuren of Glenburn recorded a hole-in-one on the 136-yard second hole at WhiteTail Golf Course on Saturday using a pitching wedge. The shot was witnessed by Nancy Mehuren and Al Johnson.
