SEARSPORT – Ben Relyea hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Montville to the 6-5 win in the first game over Quirk Auto Park of Bangor on Sunday in Bay League baseball action. Montville also took the second game 7-2.

SEARSPORT – Ben Relyea hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Montville to the 6-5 win in the first game over Quirk Auto Park of Bangor on Sunday in Bay League baseball action. Montville also took the second game 7-2.

In the first game, Bob Withee and Relyea both doubled for Montville and Gerald Hews added an RBI single.

Justin Spencer hit two singles and a two-run home run in the second inning for Quirk Auto Park. Aaron Largay had three singles.

In the second game, Withee hit three singles to drive in two runs for Montville. Pasco Grove had two singles and an RBI and Ryan Harnden added an RBI single.

Largay singled twice to knock in a run for Quirk Auto Park and Justin Emerson doubled.

At Orono, Andy Treadwell hit a two-run home run in the second inning and Randy Renaud followed with a solo homer to lead Aerus Electrolux to the 10-0 win in the first game over Woodman’s. Woodman’s won Sunday’s second game 12-7.

In the first game, Phil Cayford singled twice for Aerus and Brook Sterdevant added an RBI single.

Billy Baker, Joel Perry, and Ben Huber each singled for Woodman’s.

In the second game, Huber hit a two-run triple for Woodman’s and Matt Anderson added an two-run double. Baker singled and drove in two runs and Perry had two singles with three RBIs.

Nate Hall hit three singles and a double for Aerus Electrolux and Bill Bart had a single and three RBIs. Mark Farnham had two singles and Marc O’Clair had two singles and an RBI.

Movingme.com sweeps Searsport

At Hermon, Nate Susi hit three singles and a double and knocked in three runs to help Movingme.com to the 13-8 victory over Searsport in the first game on Sunday. Movingme.com also won the second game 5-1.

In the first game, Ryan Lynch had two singles and a triple with three RBIs for Movingme.com. Eric Schwab doubled and scored twice and Chris Blanchette had two singles and an RBI.

Travis Griffin tripled and singled for Searsport. Dustin Jalbert had three singles and an RBI and Will Hinkley added two singles and three runs scored.

In the second game, Susi had two singles and a double with two runs scored for Movingme.com. Schwab hit an RBI double and Billy Ford singled twice.

Travis Estes had an RBI fielder’s choice for Searsport.
