Five Maine high school football teams have been invited to visit New England Patriots training camp at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
Bonny Eagle of Buxton, Bangor, Mountain Valley of Rumford, Bucksport and Jay High Schools were all invited. Each team played in, or won, a state championship in their respective classes last fall. The teams will attend July 29th from 4-7:30 p.m. and will be involved in the Patriots Experience.
The Maine Army National Guard will assist the schools in travel and provide a representative who will act as a facilitator for the students in Foxboro.
