Regarding the July 22 letter, “How to end terrorism,” by Larry Dansinger of Monroe:

It is not clear to thinking people that terrorists do their thing in protest of our policies. What is clear is that they are cowards who care not for innocent people or free societies. How does Dansinger know the London and Madrid bombings were committed by those who disliked the policies of their respective countries? Experts felt the perpetrators were Islamic radicals.

Further, he says 9-11 happened in order to oppose our government’s support for continued violence by Israelis against Palestinians. Hogwash. He mentions nothing about Palestinian suicide bombers killing innocent Israelis. And don’t ask thinking Americans to end terrorism by being a “nation of peace.”

Does Dansinger really think we as a nation will gain respect by allowing anyone to attack us and do nothing? Get some guts.

He and his liberal ilk need to come up with supporting positions and comments, rather than aiding our enemy by ill thought- out rhetoric. Support your country – not your party.
