Tax map project

KAPPA Mapping Inc., 6 State St., has announced the completion of a tax map project for the town of Bar Harbor. KAPPA worked on the project with Photo Science Inc., 67 Pine St.

Using aerial photographs and map compilation software, KAPPA produced detailed images of man-made and natural features of the town, serving as the foundation for the production of deed-based parcel maps.

Photo Science Inc. prepared custom software to reconcile information such as zoning data as well as street and number data for the area’s 911 system.
