OLD TOWN – Taylor Littlefield doubled home three runs to spark a four-run second inning and Sanford defeated Falmouth 7-2 in state 9-10 Little League softball action Wednesday.
With Sanford’s win, the two teams will play again today for the state title.
Heather LeBlanc added two singles for the winners.
Leigh Wyman paced Falmouth with a pair of singles.

Bangor wins one, loses one
At Marietta, GA., the Bangor 14-under ASA softball team won one game and lost one at the nationals, dropping a 7-0 decision to Indian Creek, Indiana and thumping Red Bay, Alabama 20-0 in three innings later in the day.
In the second game, Michaela Whitney laced a two-run triple and a single as Bangor prevailed in a mercy rule-shortened game. Katie Porter added a pair of singles.
In the first game, Ali Mitchell spun a two-hit shutout for Indian Creek, Ind.
Katie Grove and Erin Deane singled for Bangor, who plays tonight at 8 p.m.
