In Donald Grant’s op-ed, “Nuclear power is coming back” (BDN, July 28), no mention is made of the problems of handling and disposal of nuclear waste.

This issue is a very important one. We all need to be educated about the pros and cons of nuclear energy.

Grant should have discussed both the down side as well as the positives. If he had, his piece would have been much more effective.
