What are you doing in Maine?

Our two families went to Acadia and visited friends in Portland. We’re going to Boston now to sightsee and see a Red Sox game.

Biking on the carriage trail.

I was here when I was 12.

What do you do for fun on the weekends in Indianapolis?

Eat catfish.

What’s Indianapolis like?

It’s a good place to raise a family. I have four kids.

What do you do there in winter?

I like to camp and ski with the Boy Scouts.

John Fogerty’s “I Will Walk with You.”

Are those shoes a fashion statement?

I wear them all the time. I hiked with them. I biked with them. If I could wear them to work, I would. With socks.

What do you do for work?

I did molecular biology for 20 years. Now I do IT for Eli Lilly.

What kind of home do you have?

I live in a ranch house with a three-bedroom addition. It’s suburban.

How do you describe your personal style?

Casual.
