Stephen J. Gunty will perform a concert of acoustic and classical guitar music at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at the corner of Main and High streets. Gunty, a Midwestern native, has been composing and performing original songs for about 30 years. In his professional life, he is Ellsworth’s city manager. Many of his works are based on famous poems or Scripture verses, while others reflect on biblical stories. Adults of all ages are welcome. Suggested donation is $7.
