Kohl’s Department Stores has announced that it will hire approximately 150 area residents for the new store slated to open in Bangor in October. To facilitate the recruiting effort, Kohl’s has activated a 24-hour hot line for job seekers. Job applicants can get a jump-start by calling (877) 639-5645 to begin the application process. Kohl’s stores feature national brands like Chaps, Nike, Levi, Nine & Co., Dockers, and Carters in apparel, and Calphalon and Kitchenaid in its home department. In addition, Kohl’s is the only retailer to carry the Daisy Fuentes apparel collection and Estee Lauder’s new cosmetics, including American Beauty, Flirt!, good skin and grass-roots brands. Kohl’s stores typically hire department associates, register operators, nighttime ad set-price management associates, receiving associates, service desk associates, housekeeping associates and loss-prevention associates.
