JERICHO, Vt. – Caribou’s Russell Currier and Newt Rogers of Fort Kent Mills were the top U.S. finishers in the junior and youth catagories, respectively, in the pursuit races of the Fall Festival Roller Ski biathlon competitions at the Ethan Allen Firing Range.
Currier clocked a time of 38 minutes, 17 seconds for the top U.S. finish in the juniors, while Rogers posted a 37:05. Annelies Cook, a Maine Winter Sports Center team member, was third in the senior women’s division, followed by MWSC’s Carolyn Treacy, who was fourth.
