MADAWASKA – Jamie Nadeau scored off a pass from Jamie Daigle with 52 seconds left in the second half to give the Madawaska Owls a 3-2 high school soccer win over archrival Fort Kent Wednesday.
Beth Gerard scored the other two goals for 2-0 Madawaska. Liz LaPlante had eight saves on 13 shots.
Nicole Chasse notched two goals for 0-1 Fort Kent. Kelsie Bouchard stopped 14 out of 20 shots.

Washburn 3, Limestone 2
At Limestone, Stephanie Burt knocked in three goals to lead the Beavers to the win.
Amber Palmer made seven saves against 12 shots for Washburn.
Leanne Kelley notched a pair of goals for the Eagles. Melanie Allard stopped four out of six shots.

At Washburn, Matt Connoly tallied two goals and Matt Thompson an assist as Washburn blanked Limestone.
Stephen Pesut stopped all five shots he faced for the 2-0 Beavers.
A.J. Rossignol had 20 saves on 25 shots for the 1-1 Eagles.
