Get bowled over during the Chowder Challenge, part of Camden’s 11th annual Windjammer Weekend. Visitors will have a chance to sample and vote on chowders from local restaurants. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, and Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Camden Public Landing. It’s Tomato Tasting Week in Maine, and tastings will take place at farmers markets, retail stores and farm stands throughout the state.
