. Don’t bring pets, other than service animals.
. Use discretion when bringing small children. Some toddlers may be overwhelmed by the crowds.
. Bring folding chairs to watch bands and parade.
. Bring blankets or NeatSheets (soft, water-repellent sheets) for sitting on the grass or ground.
. Watch for freight trains and steer clear of railroad tracks.
. Festival information is available at the Food Court and the Heritage and Railroad stages.
. Restroom facilities are scattered around festival grounds.
. Baby-changing stations are provided at the First Aid Center and at Pickering Square.
. Bass Park parking is handicapped-accessible, and many performances will be translated into American Sign Language.
. Water, sunblock, hats and comfortable shoes are essential.
. Most food vendors take only cash, and save some for the Bucket Brigade.
. Bicyclists are welcome but are not allowed to ride on festival grounds. Parking is provided near Broad Street.
. Allow time for travel and parking. Shuttle buses run from Bass Park to the waterfront day and night. Parking is $5.
