I am trying to reconcile the self-claimed family values of the religious right with conservative Christian broadcaster
Pat Robertson’s recent statement about Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez:
“If he thinks we’re trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it, it’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war.”
I have reconciled it – the family they’re talking about is the fictional Don Corleone family as shown in “The Godfather.”
