I was annoyed with the media on the reporting of the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival (BDN, Aug. 22).

Where was the recognition of the skill and talent of the writers and performers of the play, “Miracle on Centre Street”? Did anyone bother to attend?

The theme of your reporting suggested that all those bohunks know what to do up there is to make and eat blueberry pies. Might as well put a few LNG terminals up there. We’ll tell them it’s a blueberry-processing facility.
