BANGOR – More than 20 golfers are expected to compete for the eighth annual Northeast Deaf Golf Tournament championship to be held at Bangor Municipal Golf Course this week. Play begins Thursday and runs through Saturday with starting times beginning at 9:15 a.m. each day.

BANGOR – More than 20 golfers are expected to compete for the eighth annual Northeast Deaf Golf Tournament championship to be held at Bangor Municipal Golf Course this week.

Play begins Thursday and runs through Saturday with starting times beginning at 9:15 a.m. each day.

According to Timothy McLaughlin of the Northeast Deaf Golf Association, it’s the first tournament for the deaf to be held in Maine.
