The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland said this week the Rev. Wilfred Labbe has been appointed diocesan director of campus ministry, based at the Newman Center in Orono. Labbe, until recently pastor of St. Mary Parish in Eagle Lake and St. Joseph Parish in Wallagrass, had already been assigned as administrator of St. Mary and Our Lady of Wisdom parishes in Orono and Holy Family Parish in Old Town.
