Drivers need to be aware that school has started and buses are on the road again. A reminder to all drivers who use Clark Hill Road in Holden; this road is a residential area and not a highway. School buses have many children to pick up on this route.

Drivers need to be aware there are children in their driveways waiting for their ride. When drivers see a school bus they need to slow down and be aware that children are nearby.

Revving your car engine behind the school bus, tailing the school bus, passing the school bus promptly after a children has been picked up, speeding up and passing the school bus with yellow lights flashing and squealing the breaks when an abrupt stop is made when the bus lights turn red, is not going to get people to work any earlier.

Be aware that school buses make frequent stops on Clark Hill Road and drivers will have to slow down and come to a complete stop. So either be patient, leave for work earlier or find an alternate route to travel to and from work.
