The following recalls have been announced:

. About 130,000 Brinkmann and Charmglow gas grills manufactured by The Brinkmann Corp. because the gas regulators could leak when attached to certain liquid propane tanks, causing a risk of fires and burns. The company has reported two cases of flames appearing at leaks near cylinders. Only grills with regulators that have the name “GDA” on them are affected by the recall. The grills were sold at home centers, sporting good and hardware stores nationwide from January 2005 through August 2005. . About 3,400 chain saws distributed by Makita U.S.A. Inc. because the flywheels on the chain saws can come apart during use. The company has received three reports of flywheel malfunction but no reports of associated injuries. The chain saws recalled are the Dolmar PS6400 models with the last five digits of the serial numbers ranging from 71988 through 79250. Also recalled are the PS7900 models with the last five digits of the serial numbers ranging from 40156 through 43009. The chain saws were sold at outdoor power equipment distributors and industrial contractor supply stores nationwide from October 2004 to August 2005.
