Cait Cleaver
Cait Cleaver of Colby College was named the NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week. Cleaver helped the Mules to a 4-0 weekend and earned All-Tournament honors in the Colby Invitational. She had 46 kills and 24 digs in the four games.
Leah Drew
A goalkeeper for Husson College, Leah Drew was named NAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. She had 10 saves in a shutout win over Eastern Connecticut State.
Brittany Morin
Brittany Morin of Thomas College earned NAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week honors. She scored four goals in a 6-0 Terriers’ win over UMaine-Fort Kent at Fort Kent on Saturday, and scoring Thomas’ lone goal in a 4-1 loss to UM-Presque Isle Sunday.
Chris Gatchell
Waterford native Chris Gatchell of Castleton State College was named NAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. He won the Castleton State (8-kilometer) Invitational with a time of 28 minutes, 44 seconds.
Andrea Spearrin
A junior at UMaine-Farmington, Andrea Spearrin was named NAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. She placed fifth overall in the U-New England Invitational with a time of 20 minutes, 45 seconds.
Katie Clapham
Katie Clapham of Maine Maritime Academy was named NAC Volleyball Player of the Week. She tallied 65 kills, 35 digs, four blocks and nine aces in four matches last week for the Mariners.
Galen Light
Galen Light of UMaine-Machias earned Sunrise Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. He scored three goals in a win over Thomas College.
Curtis Wheeler
A sophomore on the Southern Maine Cross Country Team, Curtis Wheeler earned Little East Runner of the Week honors. Wheeler placed first overall in the New England College Invitational in 27 minutes, 58 seconds and 20th in the Connecticut College Invitational (25:52).
