DYLAN GEORGE

George, a senior striker for the Bangor boys soccer team scored three goals as the Rams upended defending Eastern Maine Class A champion Hampden Academy 4-1. George also scored a goal as unbeaten Bangor edged Messalonskee of Oakland 2-1.

Small School (Classes C-D)

ANDREW WEISS

Weiss, a sophomore quarterback for the Rockland football team, completed 7 of 18 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 128 yards and a TD as the Tigers improved to 2-0 with a 47-6 LTC win at Stearns of Millinocket.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

KYLAN SMITH AND KATIE DELONG

The two Presque Isle seniors combined to score eight goals and add four assists in the Wildcats’ last three games, in which Presque Isle has outscored opponents 21-0. The Wildcats are now 5-0.

Small School (Classes C-D)

LINDSEY COLBATH

Colbath, a senior forward on the Orono girls soccer team, scored four goals in three games, including a game-winner against Dexter Monday and a game-tying goal against George Stevens Saturday. She had a goal and an assist for the 4-0-1 Red Riots against Searsport Tuesday.
