WINTERPORT – Poets Baron Wormser and Troy Casa will read from their works at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Winterport Memorial Library.

Baron Wormser of Hallowell is the author of six collections of poetry. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and was appointed poet laureate of Maine in 2000.

He teaches at the Frost Place in Franconia, N.H., where he co-directs the Frost Place Conference on Poetry and Teaching and the Frost Place Seminar, and in the Stonecoast master of fine arts program.

Casa of Bangor is the author of “White Reflects the Sun” and “The Stark Realities that Surround Texas.” He is the director of Festivo, home of the Belfast Poetry Festival.
