LOUDON, N.H. – Since qualifying was rained out for the Busch North Sylvania 125 at New Hampshire International Speedway Thursday, Cherryfield’s Andy Santerre, the points leader, will start on the pole for Friday’s 1:15 p.m. race.
Santerre, who had a surgical procedure to relieve a disk problem on Sept. 1, was cleared by doctors to race this past Monday.
Santerre is seeking a fourth straight Busch North points title and is leading Grizco Racing teammate Mike Stefanik by 28 points. Matt Kobyluck is third, 39 points behind Stefanik, and Scarborough’s Ryan Moore is in fourth place, 68 points behind the leader.
