BUCKSPORT – Katie Hurd made five saves on six shots to lift the Bucksport Golden Bucks to a 2-0 schoolgirl soccer win over the Searsport Vikings Friday.

Bucksport’s Emily Lenor notched a goal off a Brittni Adams assist in the first half. In the second half, Terren Hall scored off a direct kick to seal the win for the 4-1-1 Bucks.

April Pickering and Amanda Chaney combined to save 13 of 21 shots for the 2-3 Vikings.

Presque Isle 2, MDI 1

At Bar Harbor, Sarah Porter knocked in the game-winning goal off a pass from Angela Norsworthy in the second half as the 8-0 Wildcats edged the Trojans.

Norsworthy scored with an assist from Rachel Blackstone 34:13 into the second. Molly Hamel saved four of seven shots for Presque Isle.

Kaitlyn Beaux scored MDI’s goal with 3:19 left in the first. Kristina McKay had 10 saves on 17 shots for the 1-3-1 Trojans.

Woodland 4, Calais 1

At Woodland, Gena Clark scored the game-tying goal and Jessica Olsson had the winner as the Dragons rallied past the Blue Devils.

Heidi Sappier and Rachel Torrey added insurance goals for 2-3 Woodland. Cindy Bergin stopped five of nine shots.

Kayla Cobb scored for Calais about 7 1/2 minutes into the game, but the 1-4 Devils couldn’t hold on. Steph Perry made seven saves on 20 shots.

Winslow 3, Camden Hills 0

At Camden, Hannah Brazier stopped three shots to record the shutout for 5-0 Winslow.

Meryl McLellan, Chelsea Carrier, and Bryn Davis each notched scores for the Raiders. Vicki Nadeau and Amanda LaPointe added assists.

For 4-1 Camden Hills, Jessie Colson made seven saves on 17 shots.

Field hockey

John Bapst 7, Old Town 0

At the Union Street Athletic Complex in Bangor, Maegan Lincoln scored two goals and added one assist to push the Crusaders to the win.

Christina Andrle and Ali Dunn each netted two goals for Bapst. Meg Tilton scored a goal and had an assist. Ashley Freeman recorded three assists.

Freeman and Hillary Laferriere combined for three saves on four shots.

Old Town goalies Kitty Campbell and Karey Littlefield saved 27 shots on 37 attempts.

JV: John Bapst 4-2

Boys soccer

Medomak Valley 2, Oak Hill 1

At Waldoboro, Josh Chamberlain’s two goals, including the winner, lifted the Panthers to their first win.

John Wood assisted on Chamberlain’s first goal, which came with 10:11 left in the second half. The second was scored with five seconds to go as Medomak Valley moved to 1-4.

Davey Hanlon scored for the 2-3 Raiders of Sabattus.

Machias 1, Shead 0

At Eastport, Isaiah Roberts’ goal with 22:40 remaining in the first half proved to be the game-winner as the Bulldogs earned the victory.

Barrett Getchell had one save on five shots for 4-1 Machias.

Craig Hastings stopped four of 10 shots for the 0-5 Tigers.

Bangor 7, Old Town 2

At Old Town, Dylan George scored two of his three goals in the second half as the Rams snapped a 2-2 halftime tie.

Adam Towne netted two goals, one in each half, for 5-0 Bangor. JoJo Hwalek and Casey Quaglia also scored for the Rams. Austin Smith and Aaron Taft combined for 15 saves on 18 shots.

Old Town’s Nate Lonko and Hogan Marquis each recorded goals, while David Martinez had an assist for the 2-3 Indians. Ethan Shanley stopped 14 of 28 shots for Old Town.

JV: Bangor 10-0

Lee 5, Penobscot Valley 0

At Howland, Minh Gu Rhee scored a goal in each half as the Pandas rolled.

Lee’s Tom Bird also scored in the first half off a corner kick. Doob Dow and T.J. Braley netted goals for 4-0-1 Lee, while Kris King stopped seven of nine shots.

Brian Harris saved 21 shots on 28 attempts for the 0-4-1 Howlers.

Schenck 2, Houlton 1

At East Millinocket, James Graham netted the winning goal with 12:39 left in the game to propel the Wolverines past the Shiretowners.

Kerry Thompson tied the game for 2-2-1 Schenck when he scored with 35:08 remaining in the second half while Larry Thompson stopped 13 of 18 shots.

Ben Thompson gave Houlton an early lead with a goal 24 seconds into the game. Jordan Gard assisted on the goal and Eben Thompson had 10 saves on 14 shots for the 1-7-1 Shires.

JV: Houlton 1-0

Van Buren 9, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, Riley Lizotte and Brandon Boulware each recorded two goals to help the Crusaders remain unbeaten.

Alex Martin paced 9-0-2 Van Buren with a goal and three assists. Trevor Hews and Ben Doucette each added a goal and an assist, while Jacob Doucette and Craig St. Pierre chipped in with a goal apiece. Andrew Taylor saved nine of 10 shots.

For 0-11 Wisdom, Curtis Collin stopped 40 shots on 55 attempts.

Ashland 3, Washburn 2

At Washburn, Jesse Martin netted the game-winning goal in the second half as the Hornets topped the Beavers.

Isaac Ward scored two first-half goals to pace 5-4 Ashland, and also assisted on Martin’s winner. Jeremy Carr stopped 19 of 37 shots.

For 5-6 Washburn, Matt Connolly scored off an Adam Thompson assist, while Zack Bird converted a penalty kick in the second half. Shayne Stevens stopped 15 of 27 shots.
