BANGOR – Local residents and businesses contributed to the Mardi Gras of Maine Benefit Supper, silent and live auction event that took place Tuesday night at the Spectacular Event Center. Nearly $12,000 was raised to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, according to organizers of the event.
