I read with interest the Sept. 19 editorial suggesting that Bangor would see little impact from the Chapter 11 filings of Delta and Northwest Airlines.

Recently, in planning a trip in December, the Delta Web site listed two flights daily between Bangor and Cincinnati instead of the four we have enjoyed for some time. The Bangor-Boston itinerary has been reduced from four flights daily to three.

No matter the size of the regional jets utilized, this reflects a decrease in service in and out of Bangor, hardly the little impact that you claim.
