Farm living most certainly isn’t what comes to mind when you hear the name Donald Trump, but The Donald won hearts when he appeared onstage at the Emmy Awards show outfitted in overalls and a straw hat with pitchfork in hand to sing the “Green Acres” theme.

Trump and Megan Mullally of “Will & Grace” won America’s vote as the favorite Emmy Idol of the evening. But the competition was tough, just as it’s going to be on this season’s “The Apprentice.”

Although there’s plenty of brains to go around this season, there’s also some brawn and beauty. From the beginning, however, there are a few who stand out, and you know they won’t make it to the final four, let alone end up working for The Donald and bringing in the hefty six-figure income that comes with the job.

To promote the show, Trump made sure to make the rounds in the last few weeks before the premiere of this season’s “The Apprentice” and spin-off “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart,” appearing on several talk shows including “Live with Regis and Kelly” and “Ellen.”

Tired of Donald and Simon?

New reality shows are being pitched to networks all the time, and rumor has it that “Saving Private Ryan” start Tom Sizemore wants a piece of the pie, according to People magazine.

He currently is shopping for a station to pick up his new show called “Super Sizemore.” It doesn’t sound like a promising plot, but if we can watch Tommy Lee go to college, anything is possible.

Sizemore wants America to follow along as he goes before the judge and struggles to become sober and serve as a good father to his twin sons.

Don’t forget to check out the premiere of two reality hits as ABC kicks off a new season of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” at 7 p.m. Sunday, and “The Amazing Race: Family Edition” at 9 p.m. Tuesday on CBS.
