BANGOR – The fourth anniversary of peace vigils, which began in Maine in October 2001, will be commemorated 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in front of the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building on Harlow Street. Cider and cakes will be served.
