A Medway man was arrested Saturday after he admitted that he burglarized a camp in Grindstone earlier this month.
Leslie A. Mushero, 27, was tracked by Penobscot County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Knights, who received information from another man that Mushero may have sold him stolen property.
The camp’s owner reported the burglary to police earlier this month, Knights said, but the deputy had no leads until he got a call on Saturday. Knights spoke with Mushero, who confessed to the theft, although it wasn’t clear exactly what was taken from the camp.
Mushero was indicted in June by a Penobscot County grand jury on another burglary charge and pleaded guilty in July to four counts of writing bad checks.

Brewer police arrested a man early Monday morning in connection with a burglary, but officials did not release any further information because they are still investigating the case.
Adam Freeman, 19, of Brewer, who was staying at the Stable Inn on Wilson Street, was arrested at about 3:30 a.m. by Officer Paul Gauvin.
Sgt. Chris Martin said Monday night that the details of the burglary are still under investigation per instruction from the Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office.
Brewer police staff have been busy tracking reported burglaries and officers have increased patrol in certain areas, Martin said. He didn’t say whether the reported burglaries are connected in any way.
