CAMDEN – Erika Jellison knocked a loose ball in that Panthers’ goalie Alison Cornforth failed to come up with during a scramble in front with 3:21 remaining in the second half to lift the Camden Hills Windjammers to a 2-1 win over the Medomak Valley Panthers in a schoolgirl soccer game Wednesday.

Tana Scott added a goal for 7-2 Camden Hills. Jessie Colson had three saves on five shots.

Angie Abbott scored for 5-4 Medomak of Waldoboro. Cornforth had five saves on 10 shots.

George Stevens 6, Sumner 0

At Blue Hill, Robin Rioux led the charge for the Eagles with a pair of goals in the win.

Nina Boys and Winslow Brokaw each had a goal plus an assist for George Stevens, now 5-2-2. Chelsea Duddy added a goal and the other Eagles’ goal was scored when a Sumner defender deflected the ball into the net.

Kayla Eaton and Lexi Wessell stopped all four shots they faced while Whitney Page blocked 35 of 40 shots for the 2-7 Tigers of East Sullivan.

Ellsworth 5, Hermon 1

At Hermon, five different Eagles had a goal apiece in the win for Ellsworth.

Emily Miller, Jen Richter, Maggie Harding, Casey Wyman and Ashley Cloak all scored for 6-2-1 Ellsworth. Catie Cravens had seven saves on 10 shots.

Cassie White scored for 0-8-1 Hermon and Ashley Kelly stopped 19 of 28 shots.

JV: Ellsworth 4-1

Mount View 5, Rockland 2

At Rockland, Caitlin Kuperman scored three goals to lead the Mustangs of Thorndike to the win.

Kara Ray notched two goals for 2-7 Mount View. Melaine Meville and Andrea Bryant had 18 saves on 20 shots.

Baillie Boggs had a goal and assist for the 2-7 Tigers and Kristen Harjula added a goal. Allie Todd stopped 16 of 20 shots.

Boys soccer

Woodland 7, Narraguagus 0

At Woodland, Cody Sappier scored three goal and assisted on two others to lead the Woodland Dragons past Narraguagus of Harrington.

Ian Allen scored twice for the 6-1 Dragons. Brandon Tomah and Craig Moody each scored a goal. Ben Sears assisted on two. Moody and Todd Townsend combined for five saves on five shots.

Ben Grant and Kyle Tenan combined for 21 saves on 28 shots for the 1-6 Knights.

Sumner 2, Searsport 1

At East Sullivan, Dexter Johnson scored an unassisted goal with 18 seconds left in regulation to lift the Tigers to victory.

Sumner’s other goal was scored when a Vikings’ defender deflected the ball into the net. Mason Young had 19 saves on 25 Searsport shots.

Caleb Ashley scored an unassisted goal for Searsport. Dan Peach stopped eight of 14 shots.

Calais 4, Washington Acad. 0

At Calais, Adam Knowles scored two goals and assisted on another by Corey Johnston to lead Calais to the win.

Jacob Ludington added a goal in the first half for the 7-2 Blue Devils. Scot Geel had 14 saves on 16 shots.

Joe Jackson stopped 11 out of 14 shots for the 4-5-1 Raiders of East Machias.

Machias 4, Jonesport-Beals 0

At Jonesport, Zach McNally and Isaiah Roberts each scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs to the win.

Garrett Getchell six saves on 13 shots for 7-1 Machias.

Ben Ellis turned back 20 of 33 shots for the 0-6-1 Royals.

MDI 0, GSA 0 (2OT)

At Bar Harbor, the Trojans and Eagles of Blue Hill played to a tie.

Max Blandford had five saves on eight shots for 4-4-1 MDI while Collin Henry stopped eight of 10 shots for 5-2-1 George Stevens.

JV: MDI 5-0

Ellsworth 4, Foxcroft 0

At Ellsworth, Chris Baze knocked in two goals to lead the Eagles past the Ponies.

Pat Nabonzy and Demetrios Katsiaficas added a goal apiece for 4-3 Ellsworth. Cory Smith had thee saves on six shots.

Chris Herelakis stopped 14 of 25 shots for 0-7 Foxcroft.

Field hockey

Dexter 7, Mattananwcook 2

At Dexter, Jana Kenney registered three goals and Vanessa Hartford two as the Tigers rolled to their eighth win.

Denise Robinson and Brooke Mountain added a goal apiece and Nikki Burton two assists for 8-1 Dexter. Katie Poirier had five saves on seven shots.

Devin Knott and Brittany Piche scored unassisted for the 4-5 Lynx of Lincoln. Sarah French made three saves on 13 shots.

Bangor 3, Old Town 3

At Old Town, the Rams’ Jennie Foley scored the second of her two goals with 2:41 left in regulation, and neither team could score through two overtimes.

Ingrid Alquist added a goal for 0-8-2 Bangor and Sarah Frisk had 11 saves on 14 shots.

Julie Smart scored two goals and Cally Randall one for 0-6-1 Old Town. Kitty Campbell stopped 10 of 13 shots.

JV: Bangor 1-0

PCHS 2, Orono 1

At Orono, Annie Agnew converted a Kellie Martel pass early in the second half to lead Piscataquis Community High School of Guilford to its seventh win against three losses.

Heather Tracy had the other goal with Hattie Agnew assisting. Jessica Pratt made 12 saves on 15 shots.

Emily Sypher scored for 2-7 Orono and Christina Kitteridge made nine saves on 12 shots.

JV: PCHS 1-0

Brewer 3, Hermon 2

At Husson College in Bangor, Jessica O’Connell scored a pair of goals, Sarah Estes had a goal and an assist and Zora Merrill made 17 saves on 25 shots as Brewer reached the win column for the first time. The Witches are now 1-7-1.

Lillian Barry had both goals for 2-7 Hermon with Ashley M. Ross and Lisa Steppat picking up assists.

Carrie Cole made nine saves on 13 shots.

JV: Hermon 4-0
