EAST MILLINOCKET – Andy Zimmerman scored unassisted with three minutes left in the second overtime to lift the Piscataquis Community Pirates of Guilford to a 3-2 double-overtime win over the Schenck Wolverines in high school boys soccer action Wednesday.
Jared Robinson and Mike Wharff added unassisted goals for 5-3-1 PCHS. Ryan Martel had 13 saves on 19 shots.
Kerry Thompson and Trevor Violette notched a goal apiece for the 3-4-1 Wolverines. Corey Nelson added an assist. Lanny Thompson stopped 17 of 29 shots.

MCI 3, Maranacook 1
At Readfield, Brandon Glencros scored two unassisted goals to lead the Maine Central Institute Huskies past the Maranacook Black bears.
Mark Trombley scored an unassisted goal for the 6-3 Huskies and Tristan Goewey made four saves on nine shots.
Casey Spencer scored an unassisted goal and Will Barbardaglio made four saves on 11 shots for the 6-2-1 Bears.
Lee 4, Penobscot Valley 0
At Lee, Everett Houghton tallied a goal and two assists to lead the Pandas to the win.
Peter Pickering, Yun Jung and Devon Parker added a goal apiece for Lee. Kris King had six saves on 10 shots.
Brian Harris and Chad Trapier combined for 16 saves on 30 shots for the Howlers of Howland.
Orono 4, Penquis 0
At Orono, Dan Ohno scored two goals to lead the host Red Riots past Penquis of Milo.
Tony Raymond and Mark Cloutier each scored a goal while Tom Smyth assisted on two goals. Mat Lint and Nate Peterson combined to make four saves on four shots for the 6-0-2 Riots.
Nick Emery made 10 saves on 14 shots for the 2-7 Patriots.
Bangor Christian 5, Central 3
At Corinth, Brock Bradford had a pair of goals and Josh Griffin had a goal and an assist as Bangor Christian scored five unanswered goals after Danny Kane had opened the scoring for Central.
Ignacio Bustos and Shane Murphy had the other goals for 8-0 Bangor Christian, Zac Kutz had two assists and Josh Frost made 15 saves on 22 shots.
Kane had all three goals for 5-4 Central. Scott Kelley and Joe Faggiole had assists and Charles Haney made 16 saves on 32 shots.

Ellsworth 5, Hermon 1
At Hermon, five different Eagles had a goal apiece in the win for Ellsworth.
Emily Miller, Jen Richter, Maggie Harding, Casey Wyman and Ashley Cloak all scored for 6-2-1 Ellsworth. Catie Cravens had seven saves on 10 shots.
Cassie White scored for 0-8-1 Hermon and Ashley Kelly stopped 19 of 28 shots.

Dexter 7, Mattanawcook 2
At Dexter, Jana Kenney registered three goals and Vanessa Hartford two as the Tigers rolled to their eighth win.
Denise Robinson and Brooke Mountain added a goal apiece and Nikki Burton two assists for 8-1 Dexter. Katie Poirier had five saves on seven shots.
Devin Knott and Brittany Piche scored unassisted for the 4-5 Lynx of Lincoln. Sarah French made three saves on 13 shots.

Bangor 3, Old Town 3 (2OT)
At Old Town, the Rams’ Jennie Foley scored the second of her two goals with 2:41 left in regulation, and neither team could score through two overtimes.
Ingrid Alquist added a goal for 0-8-2 Bangor and Sarah Frisk had 11 saves on 14 shots.
Julie Smart scored two goals and Cally Randall one for 0-6-1 Old Town. Kitty Campbell stopped 10 of 13 shots.

PCHS 2, Orono 1
At Orono, Annie Agnew converted a Kellie Martel pass early in the second half to lead Piscataquis Community High School of Guilford to its seventh win against three losses.
Heather Tracy had the other goal with Hattie Agnew assisting. Jessica Pratt made 12 saves on 15 shots.
Emily Sypher scored for 2-7 Orono and Christina Kitteridge made nine saves on 12 shots.

Brewer 3, Hermon 2
At Husson College in Bangor, Jessica O’Connell scored a pair of goals, Sarah Estes had a goal and an assist and Zora Merrill made 17 saves on 25 shots as Brewer reached the win column for the first time. The Witches are now 1-7-1.
Lillian Barry had both goals for 2-7 Hermon with Ashley M. Ross and Lisa Steppat picking up assists.
Carrie Cole made nine saves on 13 shots.
