VINALHAVEN – Jonah Lizotte scored three goals and Richie Chilson had one as the Greenville Lakers downed Vinalhaven 4-1 in schoolboy soccer action Friday.

Kyle Whitman had two assists for 7-0 Greenville, and Brandon Lavigne made four saves on 11 shots.

Brandon Osgood scored unassisted for the 4-4 Vikings, and Thomas Sommo made five saves on 28 shots.

Messalonskee 4, Old Town 2

At Old Town, David Rossignol, Matthew Dawes, Matt Delgiudice, and Isaac Breton each booted goals to pace the 4-6 Eagles of Oakland. Kyle Joseph made eight saves on 11 shots.

Nate Lonko scored an unassisted first-half goal for 2-5 Old Town. David Martinez added a score off a Matt Jones pass. Ethan Shanley made 14 saves on 20 shots.

MCI 1, Oak Hill 0

At Pittsfield, Mark Neace scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left in regulation to give the Huskies the win. Tristan Gowey made seven saves on 10 shots for 7-3 MCI.

Mike Eaton saved 10 of 15 shots for 3-7 Oak Hill of Sabattus.

Bangor Christian 3, Lee 2

At Bangor, Ignacio Bustos scored three goals, including the game-winner on a penalty kick with 14:14 to go.

Josh Frost had 12 saves on 23 shots for 9-0 Bangor Christian.

Dean MacDonald and Joel Worster each scored a goal and Kris King stopped 16 of 28 shots for 4-4 Lee Academy.

Brewer 8, Skowhegan 0

At Brewer, Andrew Richardson and Ryan Pelletier each scored twice for Brewer.

Shunsuke Sasaki, Kyle Allcroft, Prentiss Swett, and Devin Ohmart each added a goal for the Witches.

Chris Brady stopped five of five shots for 3-6 Brewer, while Allan MacKay saved 11 of 19 shots for 0-9 Skowhegan.

Lawrence 2, Nokomis 0

At Fairfield, Steve Grudda and Eric Hoak scored three minutes apart in the first half to lead Lawrence to victory.

Josh Shepard stopped eight of 15 shots for 6-4 Lawrence. Wayne May saved 17 of 25 shots for 1-9 Nokomis of Newport.

Hermon 2, John Bapst 0

At Hermon, Ryan Tarr and Joey Carmichael each scored a goal in the second half to lead Hermon.

Anthony Rowe and Corey Johnson combined for four saves on eight shots for 6-2 Hermon. Chris Smith saved four of eight shots for the 4-4 Crusaders of Bangor.

Girls soccer

Greenville 6, Vinalhaven 0

At Greenville, Hannah Breton registered a hat trick, leading the Lakers to their eighth consecutive win.

Martha Richardson, Kayla Lander and Brittany Boucher added a goal apiece for undefeated Greenville. Beth Bartley and Lauren Fling combined to save both shots by the Vikings.

Natalie Leed made 11 saves on 27 shots for 3-7 Vinalhaven.

John Bapst 3, Bucksport 2

At Bucksport, Whitney Sinclair scored the winner with 15:18 left in the second half.

Taylor Greenlaw added a goal off an assist from Molly Jones, and Hayley Cutri also tallied a goal in the second half. Caroline Cassling and Taylor Greenlaw combined for six saves on 14 shots for 7-1 John Bapst of Bangor.

Terren Hall and Lindsey Gordon each scored a goal for 5-2-3 Bucksport, and Katie Hurd had four saves on 10 shots.

Brewer 4, Skowhegan 1

At Skowhegan, Sarah Risser scored two goals to pace Brewer by Skowhegan.

Katie Quimby and Kayla Dunn each added a goal while Ashley Albert and Hailey Quirk each recorded an assist. Carolyn Tuck stopped seven of eight shots for 3-6 Brewer.

Danielle Goff scored for Skowhegan, and Crystal Johnson saved 11 of 15 shots for the 1-7-1 Indians.

Schenck 2, Piscataquis 1

At East Millinocket, Gabrielle Rioux scored the winning goal with 27:15 left in the game.

Laura Jamo scored the tying goal with 29:36 remaining in the second. Robin Larlee saved five of 11 shots for the 6-3 Wolverines.

Jessica Crouse scored for Piscataquis of Guilford, while Jill Martell had seven saves on 17 shots for the 1-6-1 Pirates.

Field hockey

Foxcroft 2, Nokomis 0

At Newport, Danika Brown scored on a penalty stroke with 11:24 left in the first half and Molly Cyr added a goal five minutes later to lead Foxcroft Academy to victory.

Morgan Rice stopped nine of nine shots for Foxcroft while Jackie Flye had four saves on six shots for 2-7 Nokomis.

Central 2, Dexter 0

At Dexter, Beth Dauphinee and Brooke Washburn scored two second-half goals as the Red Devils put the Tigers away.

Kara Voisine posted the shutout, saving all three shots she faced. For Dexter, Katie Poirier made 13 saves on 16 shots.

Brewer 3, Old Town 1

At Brewer, Jessica O’Connell and Jessica Nason each scored a goal in the first half to give Brewer the early lead.

Sara Jewell added an unassisted second-half goal while Zora Merrill stopped five of nine shots for 2-7-1 Brewer.

Julie Smart scored in the first half for Old Town with an assist from Sara Wilcox. Karey Littlefield saved five of 10 shots for the 0-8-1 Indians.

JV: Old Town 4-0

Mattanawcook 1, Bangor 0

At Bangor, Michelle Paul scored two minutes before halftime to provide the Lynx of Lincoln with the win.

Bethany Libby had the assist, and Sarah French made eight saves on 15 shots for 5-5-1 MA.

Sarah Frisk and Sarah Hanselman combined to make seven saves on 15 shots for the 0-9-2 Rams.

JV: MA 4-0
