Haney’s 3 goals power Devils

CORINTH – Hilary Haney scored three goals and Beth Dauphinee dished out three assists to lead the Central Red Devils to a 4-0 win over the Piscataquis Community High Pirates in a high school field hockey matchup Monday.

Traci Underhill added a goal and Courtney Hersey an assist for 10-1 Central. Kara Voisine stopped all 12 shots sent her way.

Jessica Pratt made 22 saves on 26 shots for the 7-4-1 Pirates of Guilford.

JV: Central 3-1

Nokomis 3, Brewer 0

At Newport, Alyssa Bragdon scored a goal and assisted another to lead Nokomis to victory over the Witches.

Dana-Jo Gardner and Erin Knight each scored a goal for 3-7 Nokomis. Beth Flanders stopped both shots she faced.

Katie Chambers made seven saves on 10 shots for 2-9 Brewer.

JV: Nokomis 2-1

Foxcroft 5, Old Town 2

At Old Town, Kayla Clukey scored three goals to lead Foxcroft Academy to the win.

Jen Gagnon and Amy Molinaio both scored a goal for 8-4 Foxcroft and Molly Cyr had an assist. Morgan Rice made 27 saves on 29 shots.

Julie Smart and Sarah Wilcox each scored a goal for 0-9-1 Old Town and Cally Randall had an assist. Kitty Campbell stopped 16 of 21 shots.

JV: Foxcroft 2-1

Stearns 4, Orono 0

At Millinocket, Felicia Achorn scored twice to push Stearns past Orono.

Jamie Johnson and Paige Curtis both scored a goal for 8-2 Stearns and Mikaela Rosebush had an assist. Deanna Michaud stopped all seven shots.

Kristine Kittridge made 14 saves on 18 shots for 2-8-1 Orono.

JV: Stearns 2-0

John Bapst 2, Hermon 0

At Hermon, Ashley Freeman scored both goals to lead John Bapst of Bangor to victory.

Marci Scofield and Ali Dunn each provided an assist for 9-1 John Bapst. Hillary Laferriere stopped both shots.

Carrie Cole made 17 saves on 23 shots for 3-8 Hermon

Girls soccer

Lee 11, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, Aarika Ritchie and Amanda Gifford each recorded four goals and an assist to help Lee improve to 11-0.

Liz Read, Karin Bird, and Brooke Harris each added a goal while Laci McLaughlin and Marci Moors had an assist apiece. Jackie Moors made three saves on five shots for the Pandas.

For the 6-4 Wolverines, Robin Larlee made three saves on 10 shots and Tricia Hobbs had nine saves on 16 shots.

Greenville 6, Calvary Chapel 0

At Bangor, Hannah Breton scored two goals and had two assists to push Greenville to the win.

Kahla Lander had two goals and an assist for 10-0 Greenville. Tasha Elsemore and Brittany Boucher both added a goal. Beth Bartley and Boucher combined to stop all three shots.

Hannah Lacadie made 16 saves on 32 shots for 3-7 Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington.

Bangor Chr. 5, DI-Stonington 0

At Deer Isle, Christin Pelletier scored three goals and assisted another to lead Bangor Christian to the win.

Amber Leathers added two goals and an assist for 8-2 Bangor Christian and Brooke Hale had two assists. Mariah Bach made two saves on 10 shots.

Anika Powers stopped 12 of 25 shots for 2-7-1 Deer Isle-Stonington.

George Stevens 5, MDI 0

At Bar Harbor, Sadie Beardsworth scored a pair of goals as the Eagles of Blue Hill rolled.

Robin Rioux, Emily Peake and Liz Moran added a goal each for 7-2-2 George Stevens. Kayla Eaton stopped all four shots she faced.

Christina McKay had eight saves on 13 shots for the 3-5-2 Trojans.

JV: MDI 2-1

Calais 3, Shead 1

At Calais, Courtney Hill broke the 1-1 tie with her goal nine minutes left in the first half to lead the Blue Devils to victory.

Kayla Cobb and Heidi Graceffa both scored a goal for 4-7 Calais. Steph Perry stopped 13 of 14 shots.

Lauretta Ricker scored for 4-5-1 Shead of Eastport. Dorothy Pottle turned away 12 of 15 shots.

Boys soccer

Greenville 6, Valley 1

At Greenville, Jonah Lizotte scored two goals and assisted another to lead Greenville to the win.

Joe Jardine had two goals for 9-0 Greenville. Corey Woodbury and Kyle Whitman both added a goal. Brandon Lavigne made nine saves on 15 shots.

Otis Hatfield scored a second-half goal for 0-11 Valley of Bingham. Travis Hovey stopped 14 of 43 shots.

MCI 7, Rockland 0

At Rockland, Mark Trombley netted four goals to lead the Huskies of Pittsfield to their eighth win against three losses.

Dustin Varney notched two goals and one assist while Trevin Ming added a goal for MCI. Tristan Goewey made three saves on six shots.

Kevin Makson recorded nine saves on 21 shots for 1-10 Rockland.

Mt. Blue 4, Old Town 1

At Old Town, Devin Fereirra tallied two goals in the win for Mt. Blue of Farmington.

Alex Lepage scored one goal and assisted on another for the 6-4 Cougars and Jamie Sawyer added a goal. Justin Davis had 18 saves on 21 shots.

Nate Lonko scored off a pass from Matt Jones for 3-6 Old Town. Ethan Shanley stopped 15 of 23 shots.

JV: Mt. Blue 2-0
