UMF’s Lemont shuts out St. Joseph’s

STANDISH – Brian Lemont recorded a shutout as the University of Maine-Farmington Beavers earned a 2-0 men’s soccer win over the Saint Joseph’s College Monks Friday.

Lemont saved all eight Monk shots.

Andy Knox and Craig Cameron each scored goals in the first half to lead 3-6-1 UMF.

David Rosquete made three saves on six shots for Saint Joseph’s, now 3-5-1.
