HAMPDEN – Nori Francis-Mezger scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Hampden Academy Broncos to a 4-1 schoolgirl soccer victory over the Skowhegan Indians Monday.

Annaliese Lafayette, Lauren Maltz, and Hannah Growe each scored a goal for 10-2-1 Hampden. Mikki Libbey and Marina Fodnaess both had an assist. Michelle Wells made three saves on 11 shots.

Jordan Emery scored on a Danielle Goff assist for 1-10-1 Skowhegan. Brittany Gould stopped nine of 31 shots.

JV: Hampden 1-0

Presque Isle 15, Foxcroft 0

At Dover-Foxcroft, Katie Delong racked up five goals and Sarah Porter tallied three as the unbeaten Wildcats rolled to their 13th win.

Kayla Legassie scored two goals for 13-0 Presque Isle while Angela Norsworthy, Kylan Smith, Brittany Bearden, Katrina Whittier and Chantelle Cyr chipped in with one apiece. Molly Hamel saved all four shots she faced.

Brittany Fadley and Lauren Kausia combined for 17 saves on 32 shots for 4-8-1 Foxcroft.

Bangor Chr. 2, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, Christin Pelletier scored with 36:36 left in the first half to push Bangor Christian to the win.

Morgan Chasse added a second half goal for the 10-2 Patriots. Libbey Long made five saves on 14 shots.

Robin Larlee stopped 12 of 24 shots for 8-5 Schenck.

Greenville 2, Rangeley 1

At Greenville, first-half goals five minutes apart by Kahla Lander and Brittany Boucher staked Greenville to a 2-0 lead and the Lakers hung on to improve to 12-0.

Hannah Breton assisted on Boucher’s game-winner and Beth Bartley finished with two saves on three shots.

Ashley Quimby scored for 6-6 Rangeley with 14 minutes left in regulation. Krista Jamison made 10 saves on 16 shots.

Orono 2, Central 1

At Corinth, Lindsey Colbath scored a first-half goal to help lead Orono to the win.

Lauren Wheeler put Orono up 2-0 with a second-half goal. Heather Woodbrey stopped seven of 19 shots.

Rachael Lewis scored on a Molly Chretien assist in the second half for Central. Kim LeBlanc made 15 saves on 18 shots.

Field hockey

Dexter 2, Orono 0

At Husson College in Bangor, Vanessa Hartford scored on a Jana Kenney assist with 24:19 left in the first half to lead the Tigers past the Red Riots.

Brooke Mountain added an insurance goal on a Nicci Burton assist with 16:05 left in the second half for 9-3-1 Dexter. Katie Poirier stopped eight of nine shots.

Kristine Kitteridge made six saves on eight shots for 3-10-1 Orono.

Winslow 65, MDI 6

At Winslow, the Black Raiders held the Trojans to 31 total yards of offense and minus-nine on the ground en route to the win.

Justin Lindie carried seven times for 106 yards and three touchdowns for Winslow. Stephen Siviski added a 19-yard touchdown run and an 18-yard toss to Ryan Cosgrove.

Tyler Crawford fired a 9-yard touchdown pass to Vincent Moore for MDI.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Chris Leighton scored two goals to push Ellsworth to the win.

Demitrios Katsiaficas had a goal and an assist for 8-3-1 Ellsworth and James Doe scored a goal. Ricky Tombley and Yonas Millay both had an assist. Cory Smith and Greg Berry combined to stop one of three shots.

Chris Heretakis made nine saves on 12 shots for 1-10-1 Foxcroft Academy.

Greenville 6, Rangeley 1

At Greenville, Jonah Lizotte’s two goals and two assists powered undefeated Greenville to the victory.

Joe Jardine scored two goals and Corey Woodbury chipped in with two assists. Tim Post and Durgin McKusick added a goal apiece for 11-0 Greenville. Brandon Lavigne stopped five of six shots.

Whire Hammond recorded Rangeley’s goal and Quinn Philbrick made eight saves on 27 shots.

Bangor Chr. 5, Schenck 1

At East Millinocket, Josh Griffin scored two goals to lead Bangor Christian to the win.

Brock Bradford, Shane Murphy, and Justin Phinney each added a goal for the Patriots. Josh Frost made three saves on eight shots.

Kerry Thompson scored on a James Graham assist for Schenck. Lanny Thompson stopped eight of 33 shots.

Orono 4, Hermon 1

At Orono, Chris McConnon scored two goals to lead the Orono Red Riots to the win.

Tom Smyth and Trey Schlutt each scored a goal for the 9-1-2 Riots. Jeff Normand had two assists and Mat Lint made four saves on five shots.

Cody Hills scored unassisted for the 6-6 Hawks. Josh Blaine made 10 saves on 14 shots.

Calvary Chapel 5, GPCA 3

At South Portland, Rosaire Veilleux scored two goals and had two assists to lead Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington to the win.

Jon Burke scored twice for 5-4 Calvary Chapel and Erik Kreitz added a goal. John Romelow made eight saves on 12 shots.

Derek Green, Joseph Tshamala, and Geoff Taylor each scored a goal for 5-2 Greater Portland Christian Academy. Mike Saunders stopped 11 of 20 shots.

Katahdin 5, DI-Stonington 2

At Stacyville, Pat Willett scored four goals, two in each half, to power the Cougars to victory over the Mariners.

Andy Kay and Alex McAvoy assisted on two of Willett’s goals and Kay tallied one of his own for 6-4-2 Katahdin. Burton Brayall made four saves on seven shots.

Eben Powers and Bryant Ciomei scored unassisted goals for 3-7 Deer Isle-Stonington. Powers and Rob Brown combined to make six saves on 16 shots.
