BANGOR – Ben Johnson III of Orland broke a Northeastern Maine Ten-Pin Bowling Association record with a series pinfall score of 846 Tuesday night at Family Fun Lanes.
Johnson, 23, rolled strings of 278, 289 and 279, to break a 15-year-old record association record of 827. It is believed to be the highest NEMTPBA series in 40 years.
