Army Capt. Charles A. Roberts was deployed to Iraq last week as a member of the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team. Roberts, a physician assistant, is the son of Ted and Carolyn Roberts of Presque Isle, Maine. His wife Sheryl is from Newton, Illinois. Roberts graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1981 and received a bachelor’s degree in 1985 from the University of Maine, Presque Isle. He earned another bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio, in 1997.
