Sawyer Arena to open for season Monday

BANGOR – Sawyer Arena is scheduled to open for the season Monday.

The public skating schedule for the 2005-06 season is: public skating, Monday through Friday, 12:30-1:30 p.m., $2 per session and Sundays, 4-5:30 p.m., $4 per session. Those age 5 and under skate for free.

Figure skating only: Monday through Friday, 1:40-2:50 p.m., $2 per session; after Nov. 18, times change to 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Stick and puck: until Nov. 18, Bantams and older can skate from 3-4 p.m., Peewees and younger can skate from 4:10-5:10 p.m., $3 per session.

A Learn to Skate program will be offered later in the season.
