Dennysville-Edmunds Congregational Church is celebrating its 200th anniversary with two events on Oct. 30. The first will be a “200th Anniversary Service of Grateful Remembrance,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the church on King Street. During this program, people from the congregation will impersonate characters from the church’s past and recount significant events from the church’s history. The Dennysville Festival Choir under the direction of Pastor Colin Windhorst will sing, and the congregation will sing favorite hymns. The second event will be a 200th anniversary supper at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Edmunds Consolidated School. On the menu will be kinds of food that might have been served 200 years ago. Cost is $8 per person.
