New Zealand author Megan Don will speak on the nature of place and home as experiences while walking the mystical path during a talk at the Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St. Using the works and life of St. Teresa of Avila, the 16th century Spanish mystic, Don will draw parallels between Teresa’s personal search for place and home and our own contemporary quests. She will also be leading a meditation using the ancient Christian contemplative practice of Lectio Divina. The talk will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. For information, call 594-0310.
