At Limestone, junior wing Logan Cousins extended her goal-scoring streak to three games with a pair of first-half goals as Limestone earned the school’s first-ever berth in an Eastern Maine regional championship soccer game.
Ellie Dunn and Brittany King assisted on her goals as the Eagles took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.
Lee Anne Kelly made it 3-0 early in the second half, set up by Dunn, and King converted a Kellie Peers assist after Amber Leathers had scored the first of her two goals for the Patriots.
Christin Pelletier assisted on Leathers’ first goal and Leathers’ second came from the penalty spot.
Melanie Allen made nine saves on 18 shots for 11-3-2 Limestone, the second seed, while Libbey Long made nine stops on 17 shots for 13-3 Bangor Christian, the third seed.
