Genevieve Turgeon

Freshman goaltender Genevieve Turgeon of the University of Maine was named the ITECH Rookie of the Week for women’s hockey. Turgeon stopped 20 shots in regulation and overtime to help lead the Black Bears to victory over UConn.

Erin Nason

Husson College midfielder Erin Nason of Unity was named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for Field Hockey. Nason had a two goals and an assist in three Husson wins.

Ben Caldwell

Brewer senior Ben Caldwell was named the football Pine Tree Conference Class B Player of the week. Caldwell had 203 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns for the Witches. On defense, he had 11 tackles, eight of which were solo, in Brewer’s 20-14 win over Belfast.
