BANGOR – The John Bapst Players will present Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5, at John Bapst Memorial High School, 100 Broadway.

In one of Shakepeare’s most famous comedies, the audience is whisked from the human world to the fairy world when two Athenian lovers run off to be married against the girl’s father’s wishes and stop to rest in the woods. They are followed by two jealous lovers’ intent on stopping the marriage. The fairy king casts misdirected love spells and hilarity ensues.

Ticket are $5 and may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the JBMHS Fine Arts Office at 947-0313.
