WINDHAM – Sinisa Bajic scored two goals and Chris LaPointe scored one and assisted on two to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 4-2 women’s soccer win over the UMaine-Farmington Beavers Thursday.
The match was played at Windham High School due to poor field conditions in Gorham.
Adam Bail scored the other goal for 5-9-3 Southern Maine of Gorham. Joel Costigan had six saves on 16 shots.
Kellen Brown and Andy Knox scored for the 4-8-3 Beavers. Brian Lemont saved six of 15 shots.

At Plymouth, N.H., Kelsey McBride scored on a Jaimee Coombs assist at 64:25 to lift Plymouth State University over the University of Southern Maine.
Hayley Quinones made 12 saves on 16 shots for 4-10-1 Plymouth State.
Mindy Morneault stopped seven of 12 shots for the 10-5-1 Huskies of Gorham.

At Keene N.H., Amanda Rosenbeck scored late in the first half for Keene State in the win.
Sarah Joyce didn’t face a shot for 9-8 Keene State while Sadie Garnache-Poirier saved 11 of 20 shots for the 6-12 Huskies of Gorham.
