Marie-Andree Canuel, Linda Consolante and Jasmine Phillips of the University of Maine have earned America East women’s soccer honors. Canuel was named midfielder of the year after posting 21 points for coach Scott Atherley’s Black Bears. Her nine goals rank fourth in AE.

Marie-Andree Canuel, Linda Consolante and Jasmine Phillips of the University of Maine have earned America East women’s soccer honors.

Canuel was named midfielder of the year after posting 21 points for coach Scott Atherley’s Black Bears. Her nine goals rank fourth in AE.

Consolante was named defender of the year after helping UMaine allow only 53 shots. She scored three goals.

Phillips played in eight games, allowing only one goal in 711 minutes of action with a 0.13 goals-against average.

Meghann Cook and Nancy Feldman of Boston University were named striker and coach of the year, respectively. Sara Hourihan of New Hampshire was the league’s top rookie.
