The Long John weekend at Unity Raceway, featuring a 150-lap pro stock race, will get under way Saturday as Maine racing wraps up for the season, while NASCAR’s Busch North series finishes up with the New England Dodge Dealers 100 at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn.

The Long John weekend at Unity Raceway, featuring a 150-lap pro stock race, will get under way Saturday as Maine racing wraps up for the season, while NASCAR’s Busch North series finishes up with the New England Dodge Dealers 100 at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn.

Racing at Unity starts at 1 p.m. and the gates open at 11 a.m. There will also be 100-lap races in the late model and super street divisions, while other divisions will also race.

Cherryfield’s Andy Santerre can clinch his fourth straight Busch North Series championship by finishing in 17th place or better at Thompson.
